The South Korea international made an emotional announcement during Spurs’ pre-season in the summer of 2025 that he would be severing ties with the Premier League giants after 10 memorable years.

A new challenge has been lined up since then, with Son joining the likes of Lionel Messi and Thomas Muller in North America. He has completed a switch to LAFC and will now be enjoying life in the Californian sunshine.
He has been waved away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with best wishes, having served Spurs with distinction across a decade of loyal service. He plundered 173 goals for the club through 454 appearances.
